No person in care—young or old—should have to struggle to find the support they need. At Thrive House, we are dedicated to providing compassionate, personalised care and support services to individuals and families who need it most.
Thrive House began in 2017, when founders Bernadette Burns and Joel Dorman saw a significant gap in the system—there simply wasn’t enough support for individuals in need of a safe, supportive and nurturing environment.
What started as a modest garage setup has now blossomed into a thriving organisation. We are proud to be one of the largest and most successful providers of NDIS and Child Safety services across Brisbane, Moreton Bay and the Sunshine Coast, with 28 residential homes and a dedicated team of nearly 270 caring professionals. While we are among the largest Child Safety service providers in the Moreton region, our primary focus is on delivering exceptional NDIS services.
We will treat everyone equally no matter where they are from or who they are. We will make sure everyone feels included and welcome.
We will give you information about your physical, emotional and online safety and what to do if you feel unsafe.
We will make sure there are lots of ways for you to have a say and be involved.
We will listen and act on what you tell us. We will help you with your hopes and dreams as well as your worries and fears.
You can trust that we will care about your needs and feelings and will support you. We will continue to get better at what we do.
We will make our place happy and comfortable for you.
