We’re excited to invite you to our Thrive House Community Hub Open Day, a chance to explore our expanding programs, meet our team, and experience first hand the supportive, vibrant environment we’ve created for people of all abilities.
What’s Happening?
Our Open Day will showcase everything the Community Hub has to offer, including our newest additions, the Over 18’s Day Program and VTQ (Vocational Training Queensland) Program.
What You’ll Experience:
- Interactive displays and hands-on activity stations
- Program overviews for the Over 18’s Day Program and VTQ Program
- Meet-the-team sessions with our friendly, experienced staff
- Inclusive and fun activities for all ages and abilities
- Guided tours of our Hub’s spaces, equipment, and learning areas
Whether you’re a participant, carer, support coordinator, or community partner, this is the perfect opportunity to see how our expanded programs support learning, independence, and community connection.
Introducing Our New Programs
Over 18’s Day Program
Our Over 18’s Day Program is designed for adults seeking meaningful daily engagement in a supportive, structured environment. Participants can enjoy:
- Life skills development
- Social connection and friendships
- Creative and wellbeing activities
- Community participation opportunities
This program is ideal for adults looking for routine, confidence-building opportunities, and a safe place to learn, grow, and thrive.
VTQ Mentorship Program – Vocational Training Queensland
Our VTQ Program offers pathways to skill development, workplace readiness, and accredited learning. Delivered directly from the Hub, the program supports participants to:
- Build employability skills
- Explore career interests
- Work towards formal qualifications at their own pace
- Receive practical learning and individualised support
We’re committed to helping participants take meaningful steps toward their employment and training goals.
