We’re seeking child safety and disability support workers on The Sunshine Coast with part-time and casual options.

Qualification Eligibility

The Minimum Qualification Standards (MQS) for all residential care staff and their direct supervisors working in Queensland (QLD) took full effect on 1 January 2019.

We’re Looking For:
 

  • Resilient, caring and passionate about providing quality care

  • Flexible to work over a 24/7 roster

  • Solid analytical skills and the ability to apply these to case management

  • Committed to training and continuous development with a desire to Thrive

  • Hold, or be willing to enrol in an industry-standard course and work towards achieving a minimum Cert IV formal qualification

  • Eligible to work in Australia.

  • Hold a current driver’s licence and are eligible to obtain an LCS check, blue card and yellow card

  • Computer literate

  • Immunised against Hepatitis A & B (or willing to obtain) and provide evidence of this. COVID vaccinations are not mandatory at this stage, however, please be aware this may be implemented in the future. Thrive House will comply with QLD Health guidelines.
